Health and Safety Policy

General Statement

 

At IVS Cleaning LTD, we are committed to ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of our employees and all persons affected by our activities, including contractors, visitors, and the public. Our goal is to meet all statutory duties consistently and effectively. We will provide the necessary information, instruction, and training to our employees and maintain adequate facilities to address health and safety concerns.

Organisational Arrangements

Overall Responsibility: Ivelina Minkova, Director of IVS Cleaning LTD, accepts overall responsibility for health, safety, and welfare matters pertaining to our operations.

Management Responsibility: Managers at all levels are responsible for implementing and maintaining the health and safety policy within their departments. This includes:

  • Ensuring employees, contractors, and visitors are aware of safety procedures.

  • Maintaining equipment and ensuring it is suitable and safe for use.

  • Providing adequate training and supervision to ensure safety.

  • Promptly addressing any risks to health and safety.

  • Employee Responsibility: All employees must:

  • Take reasonable care of their own health and safety.

  • Consider the safety of others who may be affected by their actions.

  • Comply with training and follow company safety procedures.

  • Report any hazardous conditions or equipment to management immediately.

In cases where specialist advice is necessary, the services of competent external advisors will be obtained.

Emergency Procedures and First Aid

Procedures are in place to ensure timely responses to emergencies, with designated first aiders and fire marshals trained and ready to respond. Emergency procedures are communicated to all staff, ensuring everyone is prepared to act in a crisis.

Health Surveillance and Training

We will provide health surveillance as required and ensure all staff receive the training necessary to perform their duties safely. Regular safety meetings and updates will be part of our ongoing commitment to health and safety.

Policy Review

This policy will be reviewed annually or in response to significant changes in legislation or company structure. All revisions will be communicated to staff.
